Colonial Harbor Marina is located in a protected quiet cove on the Chickahominy River in New Kent County, Virginia. They offer a complete array of amenities and services, including short and long hauling of a wide variety of boats, wet/dry boat storage, and boat repair.

item6Award Winning Golf Courses

Golfers currently have two award-winning, championship courses to choose from; Brickshire and the challenging Traditions at Royal New Kent. Both courses are near I-64 at Exit 214. 

A Reese Jones course, Viniterra Country Club at New Kent Vineyards is under construction near I-64 at Exit 211. It will be ready for limited play in the fall of 2008.

Brookwoods Golf Club is an established and popular daily play course in the county's West end near I-64 Exit 205.

item3Colonial Downs Thoroughbred Horse Racing

Colonial Downs, one of America's newest and finest facilities is located just off Route 155 near I-64 Exit 214 featureing Thoroughbred racing late spring through mid-summer and features the Virginia Derby and Colonial Turf Cup both with purses of $1 million. The Harness racing season runs from late summer through mid-fall and features the $100,000 Patriot Invitational Trot and the $350,000 Virginia Harness Day of Champions.

The Polo Club at New Kent Vineyards will have its new high goal (top level professional) field completed and ready for match play in the fall of 2008.

Private, commercial and corporate pilots enjoy using New Kent County Airport, W96, which boasts a 3,600 by 75 foot lighted, paved runway and parallel taxiway. Just less then 10 miles from Richmond International Airport, W96 is located near Colonial Downs, New Kent Vineyards, and all three New Kent golf courses. By calling ahead the airport personnel can, in most cases, arrange transportation. There are 44 tie-downs, hangers for rent, and 24-hour self-serve 100LL fuel.
